Projects
are always cut in subsequent phases. The status of a project, the
moment DMD is involved, defines which phases are needed. The content
of each phase depends on the client’s own potential and is
complemented by DMD’s contribution.
- O
specification phase - defining the targets -
- The new product is described in words. The resulting outline
is the reference throughout the development process.
- A
concept phase - from several options down to óne -
- The main product characteristics are set, in function and in
shape.
- B
definitive design phase - optimizing selected design -
- The main assembly is constructed.
- C
pré-engineering phase - detailing the parts -
- All parts are defined in their end shape, the production methods
are selected.
- D
engineering phase - preparing for production -
- The production requirements are implemented in the part details.
